ZACH'S PROFILE / 2013-2015

Parent willing to accept calls

Zack is Average or Above Average of intelligence.  He had as many weaknesses as he did strengths.
Zack detested school and the associated work because it was difficult for him to process. He completed 2 years of programming and as a result the staff noticed that Zack became able to process information extremely quickly.

His entire demeanor change and even though Zach is now completing his high school, he returns to the school continually to help and volunteer. After his time with Access, we quickly saw a bright, capable and intelligent boy. These are few of his learning challenges:

PARENT COMMENTS

As a parent one of our priorities is to secure a good education for our children, as we hope they become a well-rounded person and a positive influence on society. One day for us we realized that our child was not learning to his potential. Difficulties in school transcended into poor behavior and frustration at home. After having the public school system fail us, we were introduced to the Access School.

The programming and approach are completely different, certainly not conventional, but there was a definite logic to make us investigate this program further. One year after enrolling at Access we are happy to report very good results. We still have a long road to go but our son will be ready to reintegrate in a mainstream by next year. We see the total difference. He is now more mature, he does not come home frustrated and his behavior has improved.  We are happy and he is also happy at school.

The small class environment and the neuroplastic programming at Access has been crucial. We look forward to his continued growth.
