PARENT COMMENTS

Our daughter was diagnosed within autism spectrum at age 4. Although she was well behaved and happy to be around people, she had significant delays in comprehension and conversational skills. We tried schools focused in autism, but we instead decided to join Access School, whose focus is developing cognitive capacity, and since then, we have noticed great progress.

By her second year she had improved her concentration, to be more attentive to those around her, and most importantly her self-esteem had increased to the point of wanting to attend school rather than avoiding school as she did previously.  Now in her third year, she still lacks behind in conversational skills, but in comparison, the difference from the beginning is huge.

Even at her annual checkup, her physician was impressed, knowing her past and difficulties; the physician noticed a significant improvement. When we explained that we had simply placed him at Access School, she commented that is was indeed the right school.
